Beginning Yoga Class for Women with Maggie Mackenzie (Online!)

An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Friday, repeating indefinitely
We will move slowly through yoga poses, remembering to breathe as we move and pausing to release our muscles while building strength and flexibility over time. This class includes standing and floor yoga postures that are safe for aging bodies, effective in helping us move and feel better. 1–2pm | Fridays | $15
Maggie Mackenzie began her study of yoga in 1970, receiving a master’s degree in Health Behavior from Purdue University. She has taught yoga for 30 years, was a Trager Bodywork & Move-ment practitioner for 10 years, and has also studied, performed, and taught Contact Improvisation Dance. She incorporates all she has learned in her yoga, dance, bodywork, and health studies to slow her own aging process, all while teaching the process to others.
