Purpose

Friendly House Playgroup provides a place for parents/guardians of very young children to meet and make friends. It is an opportunity for children and parents/guardians to explore a stimulating sensory environment and develop social and motor skills.

What We Do

Playgroup is a neighborhood service offered by Friendly House for young children ages birth to 3 years old and their parents or guardians. The program takes place in our Preschool classroom which is filled with educational materials, role-play and dress up areas, reading nooks, discovery tables, building toys and more! During each session there is a wide variety of activities available to children and their parents/guardians to participate in such as painting, water and sand play, circle time with songs and finger play, a nutritious snack and then play time in the gym with the crawl-through tunnels, trikes and other age-appropriate climbing/sliding structures.

Closed winter and spring break (PPS calendar).

How to Register

Your first visit to Playgroup is FREE! If you decide to continue, please pick up a Playgroup Registration 2011-2012 (.pdf file) and purchase a punch card at Friendly House. Scholarships are available to families who qualify.
