The Portland Children’s Levy helps keep kids safe and successful, by funding organizations that focus on child abuse prevention, early childhood education, after school and mentoring and foster care programs.

So it’s no surprise that Friendly House has endorsed the Children’s Levy.

Through our programs, we’ve been supporting new parents, helping to raise babies and helping prepare children for school from the Silent Generation (1925 – 1945) to Generation Z (2001 to present)! Today, “graduates” of our Preschool sit on our Board of Directors or have children of their own in our preschool! A graduate of our After School program designed and programmed our website! Graduates of our Playgroup also volunteer their time, contribute financially and provide leadership and support. Discover what has made our programs strong and successful for generations.
